Email and Calendar for Employees (Outlook/Exchange)

Service overview
A UVA Centralized Exchange account provides users with centralized enterprise (across UVA) level access to Microsoft Outlook Email and Calendar, and contacts stored in one place that can be accessed on a computer, phone, or browser. The UVA Centralized Exchange Service is able to integrate with the following:
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • Microsoft Lync
  • Microsoft Office suite

A UVA Centralized Exchange account also provides:
  • 6 gigabytes (GB) of space for mailboxes
  • Virus protection
  • Spam blocking
  • ActiveSync mailbox policies
  • Global Address List (GAL) for UVA staff

  • Student employees (but must be requested by sponsoring faculty or staff member)
