Service overview
The Enterprise-level Lync account has these capabilities:
  • Instant Messaging
  • Presence - allows you to notify others if you are available, busy, in a meeting, or away

Available to
  • Faculty
  • Staff
  • Student employees (but must be requested by sponsoring faculty or staff member)

Requirements for service
  • Active Eservices account and password
  • Microsoft Lync software (downloadable via link for "How to Get This Service")
  • Lync account (activated by sending email to the Service Owner)
  • SharePoint account (activated by sending email to the Service Owner)

Common Good service included in school/major unit direct allocation.
